As some of you will be aware, here at Boda in recent times we’ve started to incorporate “infusions” into colon hydrotherapy sessions. Last season’s “Spring Promotion” highlighted Spring being the “season of the liver” in Chinese medicine. We therefore created a “Liver & Intestinal Cleansing Program” which incorporated coffee infused colonics due to the positive effect that coffee (introduced into the body this way) has on the liver.
Aside from coffee, the other most commonly used implant is wheatgrass.
Most of us would know how remarkable wheatgrass juice is for our health. At Boda we’ve long been amazed at the healing properties of wheatgrass, so made it a feature ingredient in our fermented greens formula “Shine“.
Among its many benefits, wheatgrass juice strengthens our cells, detoxifies our liver and organs, fights tumors, restores alkalinity to the blood and neutralizes toxins. Wheatgrass is extremely high in chlorophyll, iron, oxygen, and many vitamins thus providing our bodies with concentrated nutrients in an easy-to-digest form.
As exceptional as it is to drink wheatgrass juice, it turns out that you obtain even greater benefit from it when taken as an implant. Taken from the opposite end, the wheatgrass implant is an exceptionally powerful method of cleansing and nourishing the colon walls. Bypassing the stomach, the wheatgrass implant also immediately replenishes the body with electrolytes and minerals via the hemorrhoidal vein – a direct route to the liver and bloodstream. Since it travels directly to the liver and is absorbed into the blood stream, wheatgrass implants can more directly impart it’s health promoting properties.
Here is a summary of benefits;
Wheatgrass is a powerful detoxifier and liver and blood protector.The enzymes and amino acids found in wheatgrass can protect us from carcinogens like no other food or medicine can. It strengthens our cells, detoxifies the liver, bloodstream, and chemically neutralizes environmental pollutants.
- Wheatgrass juice contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is the first product of light direct from the sun, so therefore contains more light energy than any other food element. Chlorophyll is an important blood builder as it increases red blood cell count. The chlorophyll molecules closely resemble that of the hemin molecule, the pigment which combines with protein to form hemoglobin. The major difference is the chlorophyll molecule contains magnesium as it’s central atom, and the hemin molecule contains iron. The molecular structure of these two substances is almost identical in all other respects.
- Chlorophyll is a potent antimicrobial, so arrests growth and development of unhealthy microflora. Used as an implant then, wheatgrass helps greatly in overcoming bacterial and yeast (candida) overgrowth in the colon.
- Restores alkalinity to the blood. Its abundance of alkaline minerals helps reduce overacidity in the blood, caused largely by the foods we commonly eat (meat, dairy, wheat, coffee etc). Wheatgrass then has been used successfully to treat peptic ulcers, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and other complaints of the gastrointestinal tract.
So to celebrate the arrival of Summer, check out our “Summer “Cleanse” Special” which features a wheatgrass infused colonic!
